Minneapolis (May 17, 2016) — Today at the Secure360 conference in the Twin Cities, Fishtech announced its Cloud Governance and Cloud Ramp Framework (CRF). Fishtech partnered with the leading next-generation technology providers to engineer, test, and approve this end-to-end interoperable cloud architecture that addresses cloud governance, operational efficiencies, visibility, data sprawl, and business continuity.
Fishtech’s CRF enables both cloud governance and architecture to address the challenges of cloud adoption. Fishtech’s mission includes helping organizations define a target operating model, develop a governance structure that will enable cloud services, establish next-generation cloud architecture, and increase operational efficiencies while enhancing security and compliance.
This CRF is an end-to-end architecture that securely authenticates and connects organizations to the cloud ensuring the same manageability and visibility of current on-premise solutions.
“Many organizations are attempting to realize the cost benefits of the cloud and SaaS-based applications, however they quickly learn that legacy architectures do not securely support assets outside of their current networks,” says Dan Thormodsgaard, CTO of Fishtech. “We have eliminated the technology guesswork by hand-picking, integrating, and testing nascent solutions to create a cohesive ‘on ramp’ to the cloud.”
Leveraging the CRF, Fishtech will help businesses identify the “what, why, and how” of moving to the cloud by addressing the business, governance, technology requirements, and solutions that enable successful migration. The CRF will ensure the organization is spending money in the right areas: across strategy, people, process, and technology. Fishtech helps organizations ‘plan the plan’ for leveraging cloud services with an execution strategy.
“We are excited to be part of Fishtech’s Cloud Ramp Framework,” says Sanjay Beri, founder and CEO of Netskope. “Fishtech’s next-generation approach to solving today’s cloud problems fits well with our mission to empower organizations to govern usage, protect sensitive data, and ensure compliance in real-time, on any device, for any cloud app so that IT can provide secure use of cloud apps and employees can move fast, with confidence.”
“Fishtech’s approach to solving technology problems is a refreshing one,” says Idan Tendler, CEO of Fortscale. “We realize our User Behavioral Analysis platform is but one important piece of solving the overall cloud connectivity challenge. Fishtech’s approach to testing and certifying pre-engineered, next-generation frameworks like CRF allows our customers to quickly get up and running without having to endure lengthy and time-consuming proof of concepts in their own environments.”
“We are honored to be working with such forward-thinking partners to solve new-world challenges,” says Gary Fish, CEO of Fishtech. “Our mission is to make it easier and faster for organizations to consume next-generation technologies. There are undeniable benefits to utilizing cloud technologies however security and visibility quickly become a roadblock for many enterprise organizations.”
